Zamboanga City Tourism

Fort Pilar Shrine
Pasonanca Park
One of the tourist spot here in Zamboanga City is the Fort Pilar Shrine. Fort Pilar Shrine is a 17th century militsry defense fortress built by the Spanish colonial government in Zamboanga City, Philippines. The fort, which is now a regional museum of the National Museum of the Philippines, is a major landmark of the city and symbol of the its cultural heritage. Outside the eastern wall is a Marian shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Pilar, the patroness of the city. Zamboanga is a mixture of Muslims and Catholics. Although I am an Evangelical Christian, it is nice to see that even muslims do go to this Catholic Landmark to pay respects to Mary the Mother of God. Muslims and Catholics do live together harmoniously over there.

In Zamboanga City, the main tourist attraction is the Pasonanca Park. Traversed by a gently rippling stream, this park is the only one of its kind in the country. It abounds with trees, flowering plants, ferns, shrubs and 600 different species of orchids.
There is a treehouse nestling high in the branches of one big tree where guests could pass the night and hold communion with nature which, in the darkness, could still be perceived in the gentle rustling of the pine trees. Permission to use the treehouse, which is for free, can be obtained at the Office of the Mayor.

Zamboanga City have a lot of tourist spot like The unique city hall of Zamboanga city adorned by thousands of lights during the Christmas season, The RT Lim Boulevard which is a major thoroughfare as well as a beach, A full view of the cathedral church, Picnic at Sta. Cruz Island, Paseo Del Mar, Vinta Ride and many more.

My Family

I have a happy and religious family. We love, care and support each other. They are very important to me especially my mom, my dad and my sister because without them in my life I am not like this, studying in a private school, have those cellphones, have "baon", eating everyday and in that I'm so lucky and thankful that they are my family and they are also proud, lucky and thankful that they had a daughter who is responsible, loving, caring and a thoughtful child. HAHAHAH! Char2x lang. I love them very much. "Family that prays together, STAYS FOREVER"
